Naples Luxury Travel, and more specifically, Claudia Gordon, made our dream vacation a reality. Working with a skeleton plan to take our multi-generational family of 21, ages 9 to 74, to Italy for 11 days, she transformed it into a perfectly orchestrated treasure. Hotels and restaurants were always better than we expected, starting with our Rome hotel overlooking the Trevi Fountain, where our grandchildren could run over to it for a picture or walk a few yards to a gelato shop. Her guidance in suggesting that we have a tour manager with us from arrival to departure was the most important component of the trip. Our manager was always one step ahead of our every need. Every mode of transportation was on time and all local guides were excellent. We are not sure how we will function without her now that the trip is over. As to our pre-trip planning, our meetings with Claudia were always productive. Claudia did not try to create her trip for us, her goal was to make our ideas a reality. When every single one on the trip says that while they though the trip would be great, it exceeded all their expectations, what more can you ask of a consultant! In the day of online planning for trips and accommodations, we quickly learned why personal expertise still plays an important role if you desire something beyond the ordinary. I don’t know how to express our appreciation for the safari you planned for our family of 18. We knew your personalized attention would be better than a group departure. The camps you chose were more than perfect and all the camp managers and some rangers seemed to know you and understood exactly what we wanted. Our favorite camp was Royal Malewane, the accommodations and food made it hard to believe we were in the bush. The animals and birds fascinated everyone in all 3 generations. Our children already want to return and 2 of our grandchildren want to work with animals and be a guide.
